Nerja enjoys all year round tourism, naturally stronger during the summer, but also very manageable during the winter period. All shops and restaurants, including those on the beaches, remain open, and due to its fine climate, attracts visitors 12 months of the year.

There is already a wide choice of small hostal and hotel accommodation in the town. Just recently, the Burriana beach in Nerja was voted by the Spaniards as one of the top ten beaches in Spain through a poll on a leading Spanish website. Due to this popular demand, there is room for even further establishments, in the right location.
